Vidura Neeti - Yoga of Knowledge

I would like to share my views on Vidura Neeti. Vidura was called as  Mahatma in Dwapara Yuga. He was an able minister of Kuru Kingdom and rendered a yeoman service. In bird's eyeview, Vidura's philosophy of life-a typical example is-"anger, arrogance, pride and prejudice, laziness and licentiousness are the characteristics of a depraved person. He, who is envious of others for their aristocratic ancestry or attractive personality, wealth or wisdom, accomplishments or attainments, honoured position or happy life, will be a perpetual patient suffering from a disease that is incurable". He further says that forgiveness is very often dubbed as weakness. But it is the brightest ornament anybody can ever hope to wear and adds to the fourth dimension to one's personality. Vidura always for proactive measures in administering a country and said that a king needs to follow the suggestions given by wise. Vidura Neeti becomes more relevant in today's political situations as our politicians need to have an everyday introspection in serving the people rather than aiming for ephemeral gains. Vidura Neeti is also substanciated by Lord Krishna in Gita i.e the Yoga of knowledge, Yoga of Action etc. .
I trust that you will concur with me.
